PROTECTION AND PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

INFORMATION TEXT REGARDING CAMERA RECORDING SYSTEMS

INFORMATION NOTICE

1) Data Controller and Representative

According to the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (“Law”), any activity of processing personal data relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (“data subject”) is considered under the scope of the Law. In this regard, your personal data will be collected, stored, and processed by the data controller MAVİAY ENERJİ AYDINLATMA ELEKTROMEKANİK YAZILIM TEK. İNŞ. SAN. VE TİC. LTD. ŞTİ (“Company”) as described below. This Information Notice has been prepared in accordance with Article 10 of the Law, titled “Obligation of the Data Controller to Inform.”

2) Purpose of Processing Personal Data

Your personal data collected through Camera Recording Systems and certain camera systems that record images will be processed for the main purposes of ensuring the legal, technical, and commercial security of the Company and the individuals in business relations with the Company, preventing behaviors that may constitute a crime, and ensuring the safety of the Company’s buildings, surroundings, and the employees, visitors, and customers within them, in accordance with the personal data processing conditions and purposes specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the Law.

3) To Whom and for What Purpose Personal Data May Be Transferred

Your collected personal data may be shared with our shareholders, business partners, service providers that provide legal, financial, auditing, and similar services, third-party service providers that process personal data on behalf of our Company, judicial authorities, and similar legally authorized public/private institutions and organizations, limited to the purposes specified in the above paragraphs and in accordance with the personal data processing conditions and purposes outlined in Articles 8 and 9 of the Law.

4) Method and Legal Reason for Collecting Personal Data

Your personal data is collected electronically through camera recording systems based on legitimate interests during your presence in our Company’s buildings, facilities, and campuses, for the purposes mentioned in Article (2) of this Information Notice. The collected personal data may also be processed and transferred for the purposes outlined in Articles (2) and (3) of this Information Notice, in accordance with the personal data processing conditions and purposes specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the Law.

5) Rights of the Data Subject Enumerated in Article 11 of the Law

As personal data subjects, if you submit your requests regarding your rights using the methods provided in this Information Notice, the Company will respond to your request as soon as possible and at the latest within thirty (30) days, free of charge, depending on the nature of the request. However, if the transaction incurs a cost, the Company may charge a fee according to the tariff determined by the Personal Data Protection Board. In this context, personal data subjects have the following rights:

  • To learn whether their personal data is being processed,
  • If their personal data has been processed, to request information regarding it,
  • To learn the purpose of processing their personal data and whether it is used in accordance with its purpose,
  • To know the third parties to whom their personal data has been transferred, domestically or abroad,
  • To request the correction of their personal data if it is incomplete or inaccurately processed, and to request that the third parties to whom their personal data has been transferred be notified of the correction,
  • To request the deletion or destruction of their personal data when the reasons for processing it no longer exist, even if it has been processed in accordance with the law, and to request that the third parties to whom their personal data has been transferred be notified of the deletion or destruction,
  • To object to the occurrence of a result against themselves by exclusively analyzing their processed data through automated systems,
  • To request compensation for damages incurred due to the unlawful processing of their personal data.

You can submit your applications regarding the rights listed above by filling out the application form on our website in accordance with the instructions. You may deliver a signed copy of the form, along with documents identifying your identity, to the address: Talatpaşa Mahallesi 4006. Sk. L Blok Apt. No: 46 Kocasinan/Kayseri in person, send it via a notary public, or use other methods specified in the Law, or you can send the relevant form securely signed with an electronic signature to maviayltd@hs01.kep.tr. Depending on the nature of your request, it will be concluded as soon as possible and at the latest within thirty days, free of charge; however, if any costs arise, the Company reserves the right to charge a fee according to the tariff determined by the Personal Data Protection Board.
